SMOOTHIES & YOGA

Elevate yourself enough so that there is minimal opposition in reaching the desires of your being.  Allow yourself to keep your third eye open knowing that your portals are strategically protected yet welcoming and inviting.  Understand yourself enough to realize the meaning of infinite abundance and appreciation.  Mostly, work tirelessly at being an example of truth manifesting.

Simplify

With today's busy lifestyles, It always seem to be something that needs to be done... yesterday.  Some might call it multitasking, I call it loosing the value of the present, thus not benefiting fully by being present.  Even when we are sleeping, we should be as present as possible. Know that the time slotted for rest is set-up for rest.

There is an art to simplifying, and there are also substantial benefits. The art of it is to just do it.  Begin somewhere.  Make an effort by doing, and not just let it be wishful thinking. Begin with consciously thinking and knowing that things will not simplify themselves.  On the most part, everything performs best at its simplest.  Unadulturated.  The same applies to living well and being well.  The basics are the essentials, all else reduces its simplicity.

Do you want to simplify your eating and work out habits?
Here are 4 solid reasons why it's a good idea.

1) Less stress. Your health and fitness regimen should enhance your life. It’s something that should REDUCE stress, and not increase it.
When you keep things simple you won’t be overwhelmed or stressed out as is common when trying to revolve your life around a rigid diet and complicated routine.

2) Develop habits that stick. If something is simple, you’re more likely to do it consistently, and consistency is what develops long-term habits. Long-term habits ensure you achieve and maintain results.
This is main goal – to make certain habits fit into your lifestyle so they eventually become effortless, or at least so they don’t require much thought.

3) Greater flexibility. A few simple guidelines allow you to accommodate for everyday occurrences. Let’s face it – life is unpredictable and can throw us curve balls, but simplicity allows us to adapt. For example, if you have the goal of eating real, whole foods most of the time, you can indulge in your favorite not-so-healthy treats and meals when a special occasion presents itself or you have a craving.
You’ll also be able to make a good food decision, no matter where you’re eating if your sole goal is to eat mostly real foods.

4) Greater focus. When you choose to focus on a few BIG things instead of a dozen or more smaller things, you’ll be significantly more focused. That means you’ll get more done.
So as you can see, there are some great arguments for simplifying your health and fitness regimen. If you’re convinced of the benefits, it’s time to start simplifying and experiencing the results for yourself.

How to simplify!

1) Begin by changing ONE thing, and one thing only.
Where are you struggling the most in your health and fitness routine? Do you work out consistently but struggling to make better, more consistent nutrition changes? Then make the only change in your current routine be to eat more slowly. Or maybe you can focus on eating more real, whole foods. Just pick ONE simple thing to focus on, exclusively, for a period of 4-6 weeks. Once you’ve nailed that one thing as a habit, do one more small thing.
Are you having trouble sticking to a workout program? If so, why? Is it because your current routine doesn’t fit your schedule or you’re trying to force yourself to work out too often? If so, follow a two day per week or a three day per week program that more easily fits your schedule.
Or perhaps you want to save time and would rather do bodyweight workouts at home.
Whatever the case may be, find a way to make your routine fit into your life and don’t revolve your life around an unrealistic routine.

2) Ask yourself, “Is this essential?”
There’s a good chance you’re focused on too many small things that don’t have much of an impact on your goals.  Some things may only increase stress or cause you to get too concerned with insignificant details. For example, if you find yourself obsessing over small details like, “Should I eat white or brown rice?” ask yourself, “Is this essential? Is trying to decide between white or brown rice essential to improving my health or reaching my goals?”
The answer, in this case, is “No”.  Focus on the main things that produce the vast majority of the results, and forget the rest.

3) Stop searching – start doing.
According to Wikipedia, analysis paralysis is an anti-pattern, the state of over-analyzing (or over-thinking) a situation so that a decision or action is never taken, in effect paralyzing the outcome.
I understand – you want to do the right things. You want to be armed with knowledge, so you go to those other fitness websites or flip through the latest magazine. Perhaps you even read debates and research articles. As a result of consuming so much information, we get too caught up in looking for the next big thing, the best workout program, or waiting until we have all the information before we take action.

The details of nutrition and fitness will always be debated, but most people can agree on a few key principles.
  • Eat a variety of mostly real, whole foods
  • Be physically active whether you choose to strength train,  participate in sports, play instead of exercise, or any combination thereof
  • Get enough sleep
  • Do these things consistently
Take action and do those things consistently, and you’ll be well on your way to improving your health and fitness.  If you’re not achieving the results you want or find yourself constantly searching for the next big thing – simplify. Focus instead on the few things that matter most and experience the benefits for yourself.

I'm Label-Free
truth and authenticity

Visually, the first thing that may be seen about me is my coily locs and my rich brown skin. A speedy conclusion may lend itself to beleive-in the stereotype (based on ones own experiences and influences).

*LOOK! Don't be deceived by appearances - men and things are not what they seem. All who are not on the rock are in the sea!

When given a sincere opportunity to allow expression, only then will there be an invitation to my sea, the bigger part of me, beyond what you think you see.

*Most things are judged by thier jackets. They do not pass for what they are, but for what they seem!

The furthest thing from the truth is that people can be categorized by appearances. A total untruth. A part of caterizing untruth is to call it a name and give it a label.

*The important thing is not what others think of me, but what I think of myself.

...in short, not only are things not what they seem, they are not even what they are called! Let experiences, joys and passions define themselves.

Basically, seeing 11:11 is a trigger point of awareness.
You're starting to awaken to your fullest potential,
to who you truly are!
ONENESS

11:11 is said to be a pre-encoded trigger placed in our cellular memory banks prior to our descent into matter which when activated, signifies that our time of completion and ascension is near. It is believed that one knows when this particular gateway opens for them by continually seeing the numbers 11:11 in their everyday lives as a continuous occurrence. Activation of other gateways may be symbolized by other digits.

You will experience a sudden awakening after which reality is never the same. You are going to create clarity, healing and balance for yourself. Do not expect others in your life to be on this journey with you. It is yours alone as it is for most souls. You will have to seek new friends of like mind who are also being triggered by the digits. Once you open the Digital Door, there is no going back. Your soul will automatically and quickly move you from level to level of experience until you 'get it'. Your consciousness is expanding and therefore you will, manifest faster and with greater comprehension, becoming more aware of the meaning of synchronicities that will become more and more frequent. They are created by your soul to help you remember that you are a soul spark in a physical program that is about to end, evolve back to higher consciousness.

"11:11 - Journey into Oneness" What is the 11:11? A TRIGGER OF REMEMBRANCE:
For many years the numbers 11:11 have been mysteriously appearing to millions of people all over the world. Often appearing on digital clocks, the sightings of 11:11 tend to occur during time of heightened awareness, having a most powerful effect on those seeing them. Each time we see the numbers 11:11, our cellular memory banks are further activated. There's a stirring deep inside, a hint of remembrance of something long forgotten. The appearance of 11:11 is a powerful confirmation that we are on the right track, aligned with the Greater Reality.

Repeated sightings of 11:11 have happened to millions throughout the world. Many want to know why this is happening? What does the 11:11 signify?

When the 11:11 appears to you, it is your wake-up call. A direct channel opens up between you and the Greater Reality. The 11:11 is an insertion point for the Greater Reality to enter the present moment. When this happens, it is time to stop whatever you are doing and LOOK LARGER. A transfer is in position. You can enter the Greater Reality and travel deeper into the Invisible. You can seed a long held desire, receive a vision, ask for help in some specific area of your life or simply feel the Invisible insert itself into the present moment. The revelations you receive will not come in the form of mental concepts. Rather, it will be an enhanced state of being in which you will see everything as if with new eyes. A deeper understanding of what is truly real will surround you.
The appearance of 11:11 is an always beneficial act of Divine Intervention. It tells you that it is time to take a good look around you and see what is real and what is illusory. It's time to pierce the veils of illusion which keep us bound to an unreal world. You have been chosen, because you are ready, to step into a Greater Reality. …to lead the way for others into a new way of living, into a Greater Love …to ascend from duality into Oneness. The 11:11 is the bridge between duality and Oneness. It is our pathway into the Unknown

Join the Circus

Sometimes, I am faced to realize that it’s a circus out here and we all have a role.  Only in this circus, we have a choice of the role(s) that we play.  I often feel that I play the role of the ‘Everything Man’ at different times. Sometimes; I am the one that can do the saving or I can be the one that needs to be saved.  I can be a strong foundation for others or needing that foundation for stability.  I can be the one that offers assistance or be the recipient of help. I prefer to be a lender, never a borrower.  I like to think that I am a positive influence and at best, doing away with the negative.

My wish is to empower and strengthen the minds of each and every individual that has ever come in contact with my essence so that they can pass on the positive influence of light.  Darkness cannot cast out darkness, only light can cast out darkness.  Just as evil and hate cannot cast out evil and hate, but only LOVE can emit such a change.

My favorite role in this wonderful circus is the role of peace-keeper, dreamer, educator and earth’s facilitator.  Those roles require me to keep an ear to the ground, an eye to the sky and hands firmly together in prayer until it makes a difference.  I may not be able to change the world, but I do possess the ability to change myself (my world).

So let the side-show begin, and you can get in where you fit in.

Strength and Stability

The Standing Tree pose is one of the most multifunctional poses that I practice with minimal/limited time and space.  Everything that's built to last has a strong foundation and core.  To help build and strengthen the foundation and core, I practice this pose just before venturing into making sharp and clear decisions or shifting gears (multi-tasking) because it does lots more than just core strengthening.

This pose has quick benefits that is noticed almost immediately like a calming mood, improved breathing, stimulating blood flow yet maintaining an even blood presure, and instant clarity & focus.  Of course the benefits of being physically active, within itself, can go without being stated.   Having a strong center/core and stable foundation as a combination promotes overall strength and power.

It's as simple as finding a location where you can stand upright, can spread your arms fully on both sides and can breathe.  Stand stable. Both arms to your side. Breath.  Lift one leg, place your foot on the upper-inside of the opposite leg.  Keep balance, look forward. Breath.  Maintaining your balance, extend your arms from your sides, stretched out to each side. Breath.  Arms over your head, then down to Nameste. Breath.  Hold 30 - 90 sec. Breathe and release pose.  Do opposite side equal amount of time.

Go. Prosper.

Direction & Focus

The Standing Bow Pose is a wonderful yoga pose.  This pose supports physical balance and mental balance strengthening techniques.  Both techniques work in sync when correct breathing and creative visualization is practiced while in this pose.  Remember that yoga poses are not meant to be the destination of perfection, but the evolution of doing it in rhythm of your natural being should be your goal.  The poses that I focus on in this blog are usually directed to open and nurture the chakras (the 7 basic portals).

This pose has a focus on multiple chakras at one time in harmony so that the mental and physical self can all be awakened at one time.  When you are fully conscience, then and only then, you acquire the true ability to successfully accomplish any vision or task that you wish.  A person with Direction and no focus can easily be led astray.  A person with Focus and no direction can easily be centered and aiming for the wrong thing. A balance of the two works hand in hand with each other to make the task of transition easy and seamless.

Ease into this pose slowly, only when the body is warmed and the muscles are not tense or tight.  It is best to keep your eyes open when doing this pose for balance.  Practice four to eight breaths at a natural breathing rate on either side.  After every pose, make it a habit to relax and take at least two breaths in between before advancing to the next pose.
