Drifting Away
...and it feels like I'm drowning, pulling against the stream.

One of the best stress relievers I have ever experienced is being close to the water or being totally submerged in it.  Fresh is best, but salt-water has a special quality where it is complemented with the sense of smell and taste. I am a water sign by nature, so I am naturally drawn to water and fluid activity.  Just like meditation and yoga, the transitions are seamless and constant.  Deep breathing and focused movement should be just a seamless as thirst and hunger. I like to avoid the feeling of being stagnant, water has the ability to keep me fluid, moving, and transitioning.
I like it most when I have much on my mind and there is no one to talk to except my source of light and energy that provides me the ability to be me.  I am merely a reflection, therefore I am a natural part of the universe as I am part a creator.

The source of my being provides me to be creative through my many moods and expressions.  One of my expressions is song.  Not often shared, but very often rendered.  Allow me to share...

Enjoy the Peace that is provided just for you on a continual basis, even when there are tough times to face.
Own your PEACE!

Me & My Guitar

Changing My Tune

It’s a New Year and it’s time to play a new tune.  Everything around me is changing, so why not teach myself to change to my own tune.  Sometimes it is difficult to change and/or move in another direction.  Often times, it is even a bit scary to make such changes.  Some changes happen unexpectedly, some are planned, but we all somehow learn that change is imminent.  …and the only constant in life is change.

I have chosen to change my tune by learning to play the guitar. I’ve never picked one up to seriously play, so this might present itself to be a challenge.

The undeniable sound of a strumming guitar can calm or excite.  It can be easy to listen to or it can sound like fingernails on a chalkboard.  I plan to create and duplicate sounds that move my soul.  This guitar will be yet another way to express myself without having to force an understanding.  While listening to my creations of sound-waves, you allow me to share with the entire world a natural part of me.

As I take this journey with my new guitar,
My ability to learn should take me real far.

Sight reading music from bar to bar
On sheets of white, with notes black as tar

Striking wrong chords, that is utterly subpar
You’re Living life as a pauper while dreaming as a tzar.

Perfecting you’re technique you find who you are
You’re more than just learning, you now are a star.
